Far from the din and confusion of our complex daily lives, Charis Ranch offers a place for 12 junior high aged boys in need of a change of environment for the summer. Our goal is to help avoid their being sent somewhere removed from their family for an extended time.

Current secular programs and group home systems can keep children away from their family and schools for sometimes years at a time. We believe a shorter stay during the summer while relying on the power of our Lord can bring a powerful change in young lives. Limiting the program to the summer will also lessen the impact on their parents, siblings and church family.

At Charis Ranch, boys are pointed toward a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. We provide regular exercise, chores, day wilderness trips, music, healthy food and fun. We believe Bible studies and campfires at night and devotions every morning will direct the boys to the roots of the Gospel and a daily walk with the Lord.

With a ratio of 1 counselor to 4 boys, we combine structure and an active routine in a summer camp setting complete with breathtaking views.

We are committed to a safe environment, training in appropriate decision making and teaching the power of Jesus Christ in redirecting young lives.
